Tous nés après 1980, à l’heure du basculement d’un monde, leurs œuvres se nourrissent des problématiques liées au changement climatique, à l’extinction de masse, à la remise en cause du patriarcat et du modèle de croissance capitaliste.
Starting from the observation that the nature/culture dichotomy is the foundation of the structure of our Western imaginations, NONFICTION 02 proposes a journey into the imaginations of 78 international artists who question the concept of “nature”. All born after 1980, at the time of the changeover of a world, their works are nourished by the problems linked to climate change, mass extinction, the questioning of patriarchy and the capitalist growth model.
